Employers Group CEO Offers Tips on Building Trust in the Workplace at Executive Next Practices Institute Event
COSTA MESA, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2013) — The Executive Next Practices Institute (ENP), a unique mastermind-like group designed for C-level business executives to review new leadership and business strategies, will host “What Does TRUST Cost Your Company?” as part of its 2013 Breakthrough Strategies Series. Employers Group CEO Mark Wilbur will lead the presentation, which will be held on February 8 at Experian HQ in Costa Mesa and on February 13 at the Employers Group Executive Center in El Segundo.
Workplace issues such as redundancy, corporate bureaucracy, fraud and turnover are prominent in today’s business headlines, and many can be avoided by building trust within organizations. At the event, Southern California executives will learn how to develop trust in the workplace, and why trust should be a key factor in their 2013 leadership strategy.
“A lack of trust can have negative impacts on an organization both internally and externally,” says Wilbur. “Slowed productivity, reduced profitability, and a deteriorating reputation are some of the issues leaders can avert by building a culture of trust within their companies.”
Attendees of “What Does TRUST Cost Your Company?” will learn the value of trust as it relates to leadership within organizations and how it can dramatically lower costs, impact results, and increase profits. They will also learn how to develop the building blocks of trust with key stakeholders and identifying the next steps necessary to continue building trust.
“Now is the time for a different kind of executive collaboration,” says Scott Hamilton, president of the Executive Next Practices Institute. “This is a crucial time for executives to discuss how to manage market and consumer alignment, talent and job development, innovation and opportunity capture. We’re thrilled to welcome Employers Group to our February event to offer their insights on workplace trust.”
