Thomas joined the firm in 2005. With nearly two decades of public
accounting experience, he brings a combination of technical expertise,
talent development and client service to his role as the managing principal
of Baker Tilly’s Orange County and San Diego practices. He is focused on
bringing the full power of Baker Tilly to the local market, with a client-centric
approach to solving complex problems and driving business growth.
Specific experience
- Extensive experience overseeing audits of public and private companies in the technology, consumer products and service industries
- Plans and leads audit and review engagements for closely held private equity SEC issuer clients
- Significant experience with complex accounting and financial reporting matters, mergers and acquisitions, capital formation and IPOs
- Former accounting manager for a privately held manufacturing company, where he supervised daily accounting functions and maintenance of internal controls
