Jairo “JC” Carrion is a mission-driven talent acquisition executive with over 26 years of experience in the recruitment industry. He has partnered with leading organizations across a wide range of sectors—including Life Sciences, Financial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Autonomous Driving—where he has earned a reputation for building authentic relationships, delivering top-tier talent, and designing recruitment strategies that are both innovative and deeply human.
JC is the Co-founder and CEO of myTOD (my Talent on Demand), a purpose-driven talent solutions firm grounded in empathy, equity, and heart. myTOD was born from a promise JC made to himself 33 years ago after a frustrating early experience with a recruiting agency that failed to see his potential. That moment shaped a lifelong commitment: to build a company where candidates are truly seen, where talent is matched with purpose, and where giving back is not a side effort, but a central pillar.
myTOD has grown into a people-first organization that not only serves clients with excellence, but also invests in the future workforce. JC and his partners are leading a bold initiative to impact the lives of 10,000 underserved teenagers by 2032, providing access to mentorship, work readiness programs, and exposure to career pathways they might not otherwise see.
JC also serves as the President of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA), Orange County Chapter, where he champions initiatives that elevate HR professionals and promote leadership development across the region.
In addition to myTOD’s corporate work, JC is one of the visionaries (along his two partners) behind the Givers’ Awards, an annual celebration honoring HR Champions and nonprofit organizations that give back to youth experiencing significant challenges. They also curates a unique HR community for leaders, fostering authentic connections and purposeful collaboration beyond traditional networking.
