Dr. Olga Kosenko is a healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience leading workforce transformation, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategy across complex healthcare organizations.
She currently serves as Chief People Officer for Optum West, leading people strategy for West and Midwest
operations that represent approximately $16+ billion in revenue and 12,000 employees across diverse healthcare delivery organizations. In this role, she partners with executive and physician leaders to align
workforce capabilities, organizational performance, leadership effectiveness, and culture with business
strategy.

Throughout her career, Olga has led large-scale transformation initiatives that have strengthened organizational performance, enhanced clinician and employee experience, accelerated leadership development, and used AI-empowered strategies to drive workforce sustainability. Previously, she served as Vice President of Optum’s Office for Provider Advancement, where she led national workforce and provider experience strategies supporting more than 40,000 clinicians nationwide. Early in her career, she led global HR functions for an innovative medical device start-up and international mergers and acquisitions for a major pharma company.

Recognized as a trusted advisor to C-suite and Boards and a frequent speaker on clinician workforce management and clinician engagement, Olga brings expertise in AI-driven and empowered workforce transformation and organizational effectiveness, fresh look on talent and leadership development, culture change, organizational design, and change leadership. Her experience spans international operations, physician organizations, major consulting firms, mergers and acquisitions, culture transformation, workforce planning, and executive coaching.

Dr. Kosenko serves on the Board of Working Wardrobes, previously chaired the Human Resources Committee for America’s Physician Groups, advises the University of San Francisco’s Women in Leadership program, and actively supports One World Surgery mission to advance community impact initiatives. Her own team is a recipient of the prestigious NHRA Orange County award for 2026 as the HR Team of Excellence.
